How would you spend it?
Imagine that you just inherited $50,000. What would you do with it? Be specific (not, "buy a car" but "buy a 2009 Lincoln Town Car with special rims, etc." If necessary do internet research to see if you can actually buy this thing with the money you inherited. If you want to save the money (for college, for instance) specify what you are saving for.

I would give it to the people in haiti to rebuild homes, build shelter, daycare, & schools so that the children would still be able to still go to school.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to inherit $50,000 I would take a portion, about $15,000 and save it for college. I would give the remaining money to my parents, because throughout my life they were the ones who supported me and paid for me to go to school and buy my necesities. I would put money in the bank, so that in time I can gain more and more money. Or 'invest'.
ReplyDeleteWhat would do with 50,000 dollars? Let's see... I'd probably use some of the money to help my mom buy a better (and bigger)house for me and my brothers and sisters. Once I'm done with that i'd probably buy some of those 199.00 head phones I really REALLY like, and the rest would just go to my emergency savings fund so in case of an Emergency my family would have money to use.
ReplyDeleteI would probably save it for college since edu. comes first. Pay- classes, books,etc. Anything left from the money would be spent on a free admition at Boomers for 1 year.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that being the age I am I would be able to make spend the money in the best way just yet. First, I would give it to my parents where they would take out any amount of money they would need to pay bills, then save the rest for me and put it in a bank account. I can't imagine spending it all on jst me, so maybe I would find a charity to donate some of it to, or help someone out that I know.
ReplyDeleteIf i would have this money i would either save it and keep it safe untill i needed it for something necessary. Such as college or buying a house in the future. If i would use it for college i would use it for Wyotech or UTI. They both have to do with Auto Mechanics and it wouldnt be so expensive and it wouldnt take up all of the $50,000 so i would save the rest for when i need it in the future.
ReplyDeleteIf i were to inherited $50,000 i would save it up in the bank and then buy a car. after that once i get out of high school i would go to college and hopefully i get exapted to get in. Thats what i would do if i was to inherited that much money.
ReplyDeletei would save it for college to pay for tuition, books, and all the other things that need to be payed. if i had any left over (most likely not) i would spent it on myself to buy things (can't think of anythin in particular now)
ReplyDeleteif i got the money i would take half it and put it in a savings acconut for emergency's and the othhher half ii would buy a nice condo on a beach and start a great life with my hysband harold and our two kids haniyah & taniyah halcomb ( twin )and when he get his football deal bamb we outta tht condo and it becomes a vacation spot the end

ReplyDeleteWell at this age i would probably , use the money to go on a hollister shopping spree, Then To the van store to get some grandpa shoes, any money left over i would put away in my bank account.:)
ReplyDeleteIf I inherited $50,000 I would mostly use the money for college. I would use the money to buy textbooks for college and to pay for the college tuition. i would also use some of the money for dorms.
ReplyDeleteI would pay my moms student loans, and then put some of it in my college tution fund. With the rest I'd go on a shopping spree.
ReplyDeleteI would buy a GT 500 mustang that is on sale for 25,000 and i will give 5,000 to my mom and dad. What i have left over will go to my college fund so i can go to my dream college.
ReplyDeleteIf i suddenly inherited $50,000 I would probably save my money for college tuitions for either UCSD, UC Santa Cruz, or UCD , food, and textbooks. In addition,if there's any leftover money, i'd probably use it to spoil myself and my family at the mall or something.

ReplyDeleteI would donate about 3,000 to the davis street canter for homeless LGBTQ. 5,000 to the developement of Algae biofuels.
ReplyDeleteLet's see i would also go on a large shopping spree in one of my favorite internet stores which yould only take less than one thousand.
I would also get a productive internet bussines going and i might take a trip over seas to Japan.

i would want to buy my mom anything she wanted. clothes, shoes, etc. also to the rest of my family. i would buy the red buick my brother has always wanted. last but not least i eould open a bank account for me with the money that is left.

ReplyDeleteIf I inherited $50.000 I would keep at least $17.000 for college and give the rest to my family but brfore that i'll also keep $10.00 for some food.
ReplyDeleteI think i would give my family like 20thousand , save some for college,get a car,and save the rest. I wouldn't stop working or anything, I would live my life and spend the money when im old and wrinkly :)
ReplyDeletei would save 75% of it then spend the rest on things i want. i would probably buy a gibson custom. I would get a marshal amp. I would buy food. then i would buy a ps3 ang some new games.

for starters i would buy every game consoles like PS2, PS3, WII, xbox 360, and also i would like to buy lots of games such as naruto, call of duty modern warfare 2, god of war 1 2 and 3. also i would like to give some of the money to my family and friends too! also if i have money left i would safe it up for college.
